Recently I was on assignment for Bloomberg News photographing Sir Richard Branson and his new SpaceShipTwo spacecraft and its ‘mothership’ WhiteKnightTwo as we flew into the newly remodeled Terminal 2 at San Francisco International Airport. It was a treat to meet this guy and hear some of his stories as well as his new ideas for sustainability and space travel. It really is pretty amazing to think that in a short period of time you and I might have a chance to go into space. Having grown up with Star Trek and Star Wars it really is a pretty cool thought.
